Giuliana Becerra is a chemical engineer specializing in environmental management and sustainable development, with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. She served as Vice Minister of Environmental Management at the Ministry of the Environment of Peru (MINAM) from 2022 to 2023, and has been a board member of the National Institute for Quality (INACAL), the National Institute of Health (INS), and the National Service for Environmental Certification of Sustainable Investments (SENACE).
She holds a PhD in Process Engineering from École Centrale de Paris, as well as master’s degrees in Process Engineering and Chemistry from institutions in France.

She has held key positions at MINAM and the Environmental Assessment and Enforcement Agency (OEFA), and is a Professor and former director of the Environmental Engineering School at the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM). As co-founder of Cyklos and Burbuja Verde, she promotes innovative and sustainable solutions for the country and the region.

Giuliana Becerra es ingeniera química especialista en gestión ambiental y desarrollo sostenible, con amplia experiencia en el sector público y privado. Fue Viceministra de Gestión Ambiental del Ministerio del Ambiente de Perú (MINAM) (2022–2023) y ha integrado los consejos directivos de Instituto Nacional de Calidad (INACAL), Instituto Nacional de Salud (INS)  y Servicio Nacional de Certificación Ambiental para las Inversiones Sostenibles (SENACE). . Es PhD en Ingeniería de Procesos por la École Centrale de París y cuenta con maestrías en Ingeniería de Procesos y Química en Francia.

Ha ocupado cargos clave en el MINAM, en el Organismo de Evaluación y Fiscalización Ambiental (OEFA), y es Profesora Principal y exdirectora de la Escuela Profesional de Ingeniería Ambiental de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Co-Fundadora de Cyklos y Burbuja Verde, promueve soluciones sostenibles e innovadoras para el país y la región.
