Thava is the renewable energy lead for K2 Data Centres, where he oversees procurement of carbon free energy for K2’s global portfolio. This includes PPA and RECs procurement, JVs and partnerships on energy as well as acquisition of renewable energy projects. As a renewable energy specialist, Thava has previously worked on investments and financing of solar, wind (onshore and offshore) and BESS projects across Europe and APAC – with tenure in IPPs such as Vantage RE (a TNB renewable energy platform) and NextEnergy Group (a UK based Solar and BESS investment manager).
