Matthew Dominic Chew is an experienced nuclear engineer with a robust foundation in renewable and sustainable energy solutions. Currently serving at HY M&E Consultancy Services Pte Ltd, he brings a wealth of expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, particularly within the energy sector.
Matthew’s academic journey includes a Master of Science (Nuclear Engineering) and a MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he honed his skills in nuclear engineering and developed a passion for sustainable technologies.
Prior to MIT, Matthew studied at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Engineering Science Programme) and a Master of Engineering (Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering) with a strong focus on renewable energy and sustainability.
As a Digital twin System Architect at HY, Matthew plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s Digital Twin offerings and strategy, including Digital Twin for sustainability in the built environment, microgrid analysis and other upcoming areas.
