Emmanuel Ilaboya is Head of Product & Innovation at Lafarge Africa Plc and a leading voice in sustainable construction and low-carbon innovation. He has over 16 years of experience spanning marketing, sales, product innovation, and decarbonization across five continents.

At Holcim, Emmanuel spearheaded the launch of ECOPlanet, the world’s first low-carbon cement brand designed to decarbonize construction at scale. His career has spanned multiple continents - Europe, Latin America, Africa, and beyond - where he has led and contributed to Holcim’s global low-carbon initiatives.

A proud alumnus of the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, Emmanuel was awarded the Executive MBA Director’s Scholarship in recognition of his academic excellence and professional impact.

Beyond the corporate sphere, Emmanuel is deeply committed to social impact. He spearheaded the launch of 1,000 affordable housing units in Africa, mentored future leaders in emerging markets, and delivered significant EBITDA growth through innovative solutions that create shared value. Emmanuel also shapes industry standards as Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Cement Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (CMAN).
