Francisco Alvarez is a Chemical Engineer, holding a degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM) and a specialization in Corporate Finance from the University of Bern, Switzerland. As a Principal Consultant in Chemicals at S&P Global, Francisco has led transformative projects that span market analysis, market entry strategies for recycled resins, and the economics of low-carbon and bio-based plastics production. His expertise also encompasses strategic business transformation and M&A transactions, with transactions exceeding $10 billion.

A seasoned advisor in the capital markets, Francisco has played a pivotal role in restructuring over $2.1 billion in debt, demonstrating his commitment to driving sustainable growth and innovation in the chemicals sector.

Isabella graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and holds an MBA in Sustainability Management from the Sustainability Management School of Switzerland (SUMAS).

With over 12 years of experience in corporate sustainability, her purpose is to inspire and motivate individuals, companies, and institutions to create a positive impact on the world. She has actively promoted sustainable practices in various organizations and is committed to topics such as human rights, the environment, climate change, poverty eradication, circular economy, gender, diversity, education, and research.

She has held leadership positions in sustainability at NATURA PERÚ, SUPERMERCADOS PERUANOS S.A., and INRETAIL PHARMA. She is currently the Corporate Sustainability Manager at Intercorp Retail / Sustainability Lead at Grupo Intercorp.

Ronald Bravo has an MBA and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administrations from BENTLEY COLLEGE in Boston , USA. He is the President of Reciplasticos since 2008. He is also the VP of the recycling Holding GRUPO MARIO BRAVO, Director of ASEPLAS , Asociación Ecuatoriana de Plásticos, President of Comision Economia Circular in Ecuador as well as Director of METALKING, RECYNTER, PROCEPLAS, FIBRAS NACIONALES ( all recycling companies)

Mrs. Fiorella Danjoy graduated from Universidad de Lima with a Degree in Law. Her area of expertise is in Public Affairs and waste management.  She has designed and executed may projects that have increased the recycling rate in different locations. She is Regional Director for Recicla Latam and oversees Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador.

Manuel Escurra Quintanilla graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the National University of Engineering with a Master's degree in Business Administration from ESAN University and professional development in plastic processing techniques in Germany. He has over 20 years of technical experience at the management level, focused on developing consumer products, sustainability, and responsible corporate manufacturing.

Nicolás Pell Richards is a Graduate in Administration in business administration in Argentina. He is the Commercial Director of Reciclar S.A., a company that recycles over 30,000 tons/year of plastics. He has twenty five years of experience in the field of plastics recycling, especially in the development of post consumer scraps suppliers.

Marcio Amazonas is an international executive with large experience in sustainability aspects of the packaged food & beverage industry, having worked for The Coca-Cola Company, Plastic Technologies, Inc. (PTI) and many other companies involved with recycling technologies and circular design.  He currently serves NEXTLOOPP, Inc. as vice-president for the Americas, a multi-client effort aimed at developing markets and technologies to recycle polypropylene for direct food contact.  Marcio has joined LAPET and SCAPET editions previously as speaker and moderator.  He is based in Brazil and works closely with Latin-American recyclers in Mexico and Colombia, supporting their food-grade rPP  exports to the US market.

Armin Villa is Senior Sales Manager at Starlinger’s business unit ‘recycling technology’ since 2010. He holds a degree in Economics and Business administration obtained at the Executive Academy IBCC-Vienna, Austria, and looks back at more than 20 years profound experience in business development, negotiations of capital goods in various industries as well as the plastics recycling industry.

Aubin Ramos Lozano is the current Director of Collection Operations Program for Mexico at Grupo AlEn, a position he has held since September 2018. In this role, Aubin is responsible for overseeing and managing the direct sourcing of raw materials (RM) for the company’s recycling plants in Monterrey and Querétaro. His work includes ensuring service levels for partners in the collection programs, optimizing the profitability and efficiency of collection routes, and developing innovative collection programs for households, schools, institutions, and other organizations. He has also designed and executed the expansion plan for the collection network in Mexico and oversees operations related to material sorting and compacting, as well as strategic partnerships for RM procurement.

Before joining Grupo AlEn, Aubin gained valuable experience in management and logistics across several well-known companies. He served as Senior Manager of Fleet and Distribution at Farmacias del Ahorro, where he was responsible for fleet management, defining and implementing strategic distribution projects, and optimizing delivery routes. He also worked as National Logistics Coordinator at FEMSA Comercio / IMMEX, where he helped optimize company resources and ensure product supply to Oxxo stores.

Aubin holds a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM). His academic background is complemented by diplomas in Lean Logistics and Supply Chain Management, as well as People Leadership Development. He has also completed various courses and seminars in areas such as root cause analysis, problem-solving, and competency-based selection, reinforcing his ability to lead and manage effectively in the logistics and collection fields.

Giuliana Becerra is a chemical engineer specializing in environmental management and sustainable development, with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. She served as Vice Minister of Environmental Management at the Ministry of the Environment of Peru (MINAM) from 2022 to 2023, and has been a board member of the National Institute for Quality (INACAL), the National Institute of Health (INS), and the National Service for Environmental Certification of Sustainable Investments (SENACE).
She holds a PhD in Process Engineering from École Centrale de Paris, as well as master’s degrees in Process Engineering and Chemistry from institutions in France.

She has held key positions at MINAM and the Environmental Assessment and Enforcement Agency (OEFA), and is a Professor and former director of the Environmental Engineering School at the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM).
