Frederic Albrecht is a highly accomplished and results-oriented executive with over 17 years of experience in project development, real estate, and cement manufacturing. Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects from conception to completion, including raising significant investments, building high-performing teams, and exceeding business objectives. A strategic thinker with a strong focus on sustainability and driving positive change within the industry. Currently serving as CEO of CBI Ghana Ltd. and Chairman of the Chamber of Cement Manufacturers, Ghana (COCMAG).

A trained IT analyst and holder of an MBA from the École des Ponts Business School in Paris, Rachid Yousry has over thirty years of experience in sales, supply chain, and as a business leader.

Rachid held key positions in various markets before joining the LafargeHolcim Group in July 2011 as Cement Supply Chain Director in Iraq. He then took over the reins of the Sales and Logistics Department, still in Iraq, before continuing his career in the Middle East region as Logistics Director. From 2018 to 2021, he served as Sales and Supply Chain Director at LafargeHolcim Jordan.
Since June 2021, he has been Managing Director of LafargeHolcim Côte d'Ivoire.

Rachid has also been President of the Association of Cement Producers of Côte d'Ivoire (APCCI) since December 2023. This is the only professional group of cement manufacturers in Côte d'Ivoire to date.

Paolo Moscone has over 20 years of experience in the trading of agro and forest commodities, with a strong focus on biomass fuels for the energy sector. He is currently a biomass trader at UNI-GREEN, a spin-off of UNICOAL S.p.A., where he develops biomass and alternative fuels supply chains for power plants and heavy industry. 
 

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Genoa.

Dr. Joseph Mwiti Marangu is the Founder and Director of the Institute of Cement and Concrete, focusing on advancing research, training, and community outreach in cement technology. He is also the Head of Limestone Calcined Clay Technology Resource Centre for Africa (LC3TRC Africa) supporting the adoption of LC3 technology in Sub-Saharan Africa.

He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Kenyatta University and has conducted postdoctoral research at EPFL in Switzerland and at Cardiff University in the UK. His research emphasizes sustainable cement materials, and he has presented at international forums like the UN Climate Change conference. He plays a profound role in linking academia and industry in cement and concrete.

Ms Fynn is Regional Director, West Africa, for Norfund. She has about 25 years of diversified experience in the financial services, real estate and consumer products industries. She has experience in investing, strategy development, financial and strategic advisory, project management and brand management.  She has a BA in Economics with high Honors from Vassar College in New York and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Dan Maleski leads the EU CBAM hedging and risk advisory team at Redshaw Advisors, working with financial institutions, industrials, governments, and other stakeholders to navigate the financial risks and opportunities associated with carbon markets and border carbon adjustments.

Maged Moustafa is the Chief Operation Officer at Arabian Cement Company with +20 years of progressive and intensive/extensive work experience in the cement industry. Maged is a chemical engineer graduated from Cairo university, he has been working in well-established multinational organisations in different roles in the cement industry starting from process optimization, operation and production management, participating in designing, installation and commissioning of greenfield projects as well as upgrade projects in Egypt as well as in the North Africa region. Maged has more than 15 years hands-on experience in AF operation in several cement plants with different alternative fuels systems and types.

Dr. Frank Huber is the General Manager for Heidelberg Materials in West Africa, responsible for its operations in Ghana, Liberia, Burkina Faso, Benin and Togo as well as the Managing Director of Ghacem. Frank has 17 years of management experience in the cement industry in Europe, North America and Africa and has been responsible for driving key developments towards a sustainable construction industry in the cement and concrete industry.  

Omar EL GHAOUTI is the General Manager of CIMAF Ghana Limited, a leading cement manufacturer with plants in over 12 African countries. Mr. Omar has over 17 years of experience in finance, auditing, and executive management across Africa. He has held senior roles in several Multinational Companies, he was the General Manager in CIMAF Chad and currently the General Manager in CIMAF Ghana Limited. Omar is a Moroccan Chartered Public Accountant and is fluent in French, Arabic, and English. 

Kyle Kelhofer is the IFC Senior Country Manager for Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, based in Accra. He has nearly 3 decades of global development experience focused on supporting private sector growth and job creation. Since joining IFC in 1998, Kyle has worked in various sectors, including energy efficiency in Eastern Europe, SME financing in Africa, and post-conflict finance in the Middle East. As of February 2022, he has led the Ghana cluster of countries which include Liberia and Sierra Leonne, focusing on supporting the development of the agribusiness, manufacturing, and MSME sectors. Kyle holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Dartmouth College and a master's degree in international finance from the University of California.

Emmanuel Degboe Obeng is the Technical Manager, Civil Engineering Laboratory of Ghana Standards Authority since 2024. He has accumulated over 10 years of quality inspections for both products (including construction materials) and processes (factories). He leads the conformity assessment program for Ghana Standards Authority that includes testing and inspections of construction materials and ensuring that relevant standard specifications and test methods are developed and adopted for national use. 
 

He holds membership for the underlisted committees; Value for Money Subcommittee on Roads (supervised by the Office of the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana); Member of Technical Committee on Wood and Wood Products (TC 29); Member of Technical Committee on Building and Construction (TC 11); Member of Technical Committee reviewing the Ghana Building Code; Member of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI) Technical Committee for establishing Cement Manufacturing Capacities for Cement Industry Regulation; and Member of the National Project Committee for the development of National Bitumen Standards.
   

Currently, a member of ISO Project Committee and Working Group Expert on Non-sewered Sanitary Systems (ISO PC 305) for the review of ISO 30500 standard, Member secretary of African Regional Standard Organization (ARSO) TC 24 for Wood and Timber Products and Member of Ministry of Trade (MOTI) Technical Committee and Working Group for the Ceramics Industry for the establishment of Ceramics Industry Regulation.
   

He has a MSc Engineering Geology from University of Ghana in 2023 and a BSc Civil Engineering from KAAF University College (Affiliate to KNUST) in 2014.

Thomas Bourliere is the Senior Business Development Manager for West Africa at Wärtsilä Energy, based in Paris. In his role, he leads strategic business development initiatives across key markets in West Africa, including Senegal, Guinea, Mauritania, Cameroon, and the Congo region. His efforts focus on expanding Wärtsilä's footprint and delivering innovative energy solutions tailored to the region's needs.
 

With over 15 years of experience in the natural gas and energy industry, Thomas has developed a robust expertise in sales and market development. His career has taken him across the globe, with significant roles in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Dubai, where he successfully drove growth and forged strong client relationships.
 

At Wärtsilä, Thomas has been instrumental in advancing business development from the Singapore, Dubai, and Paris offices, working on both new build projects and service portfolios. His comprehensive understanding of diverse geographical markets has been key to his success in navigating complex energy landscapes.
 

Thomas holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Arts et Métiers ParisTech in France. He also earned a Master of Science in International Project Management from ESCP Europe Business School in Paris, in collaboration with FGV in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Emmanuel Ilaboya is Head of Product & Innovation at Lafarge Africa Plc and a leading voice in sustainable construction and low-carbon innovation. He has over 16 years of experience spanning marketing, sales, product innovation, and decarbonization across five continents.

At Holcim, Emmanuel spearheaded the launch of ECOPlanet, the world’s first low-carbon cement brand designed to decarbonize construction at scale. His career has spanned multiple continents - Europe, Latin America, Africa, and beyond - where he has led and contributed to Holcim’s global low-carbon initiatives.

A proud alumnus of the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, Emmanuel was awarded the Executive MBA Director’s Scholarship in recognition of his academic excellence and professional impact.

Beyond the corporate sphere, Emmanuel is deeply committed to social impact.
